Under new management, and you can tell, service has dropped badly, when we arrived we were offered a beverage, no menu ever arrived to order food we went to the till to retrieve a menu, we then asked what one of the pastries in the display contained we were told it’s a donut… we had to explain we wanted to know what kind of donut filling was inside , we were told someone would get back to us, they then came to take our food order which we then asked again what was in the donut, they finally let us know, we then ordered two burgers on two different kind of bagels, one bagel had bacon one had cheese when we got the burgers the tops were with the alternative bottoms of the bagels , then my burger was completely raw when cutting into it I sent it back , only to be given half my bagel back when my burger was returned , with no utensils to eat the food when I said something to the waiter she didn’t apologised only brought my utensils no explanation to the rest of my bagel was given well lack there of , my husband went to chat to the manager to ask her about the lack of assistance and she brushed it off and said it wasn’t normal, like ok but what is the solution or apology we would of left with boxes of desserts ect but because of their lack of accountability and effort we will never be back so sad it’s become so terrible when it used to be such a lovely treat ,really not the same since the last...
Read moreThe bagel I bought was average. The surface of the bagel did not have a hard crunchy texture. The inside was soft and dense but the chewy feel I look for in a quality bagel was absent.
Their croissants are average too, while they look impressive with their size and the outside is flakey. The lamination on the inside is weird. Large air pockets with a middle thats really dense? It was not layered evenly throughout. Also the presentation of some of the croissants is lacking. Sometimes the sides are about to break off from the middle body.
Took off another star because they close at weird times without notifying customers. Went there only to find out the you close at 2pm because of counting stock or something. What a...
Read moreAppalling service, absolutely every single person in there does not possess the needed skills to operate the POS till. How does it take 10 minutes to ring up 2 croissants. This is a huge trend as it continually happens. I spent 10 minutes this morning just paying for my 2 croissants - there were 2 people trying to figure out the till. Like how? Is no one trained? Is seems as though every single person is incompetent in this place.
They tried to ring up stuff that I did not even order?? Like how? They did not even offer to warm up my croissants? Seriously would not recommend this place.
