Wimpy — Restaurant in Mbombela

The time was 9:30 in the morning and the condition of the only toilet was appalling. The floor was sticky in the actual toilet cubicle, and the waiting area was slippery. Couldn’t tell whether it was the polish or what. I asked the waitress about it and she rudely said ‘I don’t know why it’s like that, they cleaned it this morning, speak to the manager about it. After the manager was called someone who was dressed like the kitchen staff went in to clean, I couldn’t believe it. The rude waitress name was Sizakele, with short blonde hair and she was anything but friendly. She only gave my daughter and two serviettes. I asked for more but she never brought them back. And if I could share the pictures of my food you will definitely not be ordering what I ordered because it was terrible and tasteless. I will not recommend this Wimpy at all. I chose it because it I saw the play area for kids and it was not worth it at all. Mugg & Bean is a better option for anyone looking to have great breakfast...

The point of whimpy is lunch and breakfast and in that regard I strongly recommend I ordered a simple dish the hash brown brekkie consisting of 2 eggs 2 bacon 2 half slice toast and the centre dish the hash browns this dish was amazing and I didn’t take long to arrive after I ordered so no problems with me the service was to be expected great there were many people in the store but I still felt like a priority but and the atmosphere was a bit lacklustre but but that is to be expected when I specifically chose to sit close to the kitchen so I could listen in but other than that no problems here I recommend you sit in the outside area which is most likely...

I specifically drove there because I missed a particular food item on the menu and that was the sweet corn from the peri peri chicken breast with veggies. I was so excited as it is on the menu pictures but to my disappointment my meal came without the corn i had been longing for, I was only made aware that they no longer serve the corn when I asked and I honestly felt so let down, i would've appreciated being told this upon placing my order, this upset my entire experience.
