JP's Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Msunduzi Local Municipality

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. I politely asked for a slice of lemon to go with my chips and was met with unprofessional and rude behavior from the staff. They bluntly ignored my request, and when I asked again, I was told my order was “too cheap” to justify giving me a lemon slice. They even claimed they weren’t allowed to provide lemons to customers ordering chips.

This left me feeling humiliated and unwelcome, especially since I made my request politely and waited patiently . This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered rude attitudes from the staff here, but this time, their comments crossed a line. I’ve always approached them politely, and I expect basic courtesy in return.A little customer service and kindness go a long way, and unfortunately, this establishment failed on both counts. We ordered 4 x Russian and Chips on the evening of 26 February 2016. Not only did we wait 45minutes for our order but the food was revolting. 1st are your company advertising falsely by calling your sausage/vienna/frankfurter/soy/artificial russians a RUSSIAN as that is NOT a russian. Its a red spicy disgusting piece of what we think artificial offcuts furter. I have pictures to prove this. My youngest daughter couldn't even eat it as it was burning her mouth. It was my first time today at this store. Staff were not bothered to greet me or other customers..busy chatting. I ordered the fish cake meal. It wasn't wow and fish cake is normal. Whilst I tried to enjoy my meal and sat inside staff were loud and rowdy. On two occasions customers walked in and out un-noticed. Staff cant be bothered. Feel sorry for the owner.
