Wimpy — Restaurant in Msunduzi Local Municipality

Very disappointed with our burgers on Friday. The chips looked like they had been left out over night & then heated up in the microwave. The burger buns looked like they were squashed flat. The taste of the cheese burger was good but the bacon egg one wasn't very good. It was R110 & we felt like it was not worth what we paid. We spoke to our waiter who explained to us that its been difficult getting from their suppliers & they've had to use other suppliers but this is to the detriment of Wimpy. Stood waiting to be seated, minutes pass by. Make eye contact with multiple staff members. Not a single one bothers to greet us or ask if we'd like to be seated. Wait even longer, staff member serves take away to people at the main desk, looks at us and just walks by not even acknowledging us. I guess she thought we were standing there for fun? Will stick to mugg n bean where the staff are at least friendly and don't leave you standing awkwardly at the front...

Headed over for an after church lunch/brunch - and I would not Sundays lunchtime 😅 as the waiting period was too long (waiting to be seated, waiting to have orders taken, waiting for drinks and waiting for food to arrive).
