Debonairs Pizza Cape Gate — Restaurant in Western Cape

When I normally order the small pizza is so hot that I nearly burn my mouth........ This time round..... Friday lunch time...... Debonairs Cape Gate...... I'm told it is freshly cooked but the pizza is at room temperature....... no steam .......no oozing cheese!!!!!

When I placed the order.... I was told I could take one that had "just come out the oven" like it was something that was made for someone else or a mistake. I said I didn't want it and wanted a fresh one.

Well did I get the fresh one or just made to wait and given the one that was hanging around?????? From the experience and "not hot out the oven" my guess is the second option. When I questioned it twice...... with the person handing me my order and then later with the manager and cashier....... I was met with attitude and the standard "we apologise"

When I asked for the complaints line, I was told to phone...

I placed an online order at 6pm and called an hour later to find out what happened to my order. I was told the driver is leaving with my order and another hour has gone by and I called again to ask where my order and was told the same story. I even suggested that I will collect my order and was told no the driver just left.

I find the delivery service for debonairs unacceptable, I'm a regular customer and yet this has only put a damper on liking for debonairs pizza. I don't think I will be...

Do you know the saying, Pizza is so good that even a bad pizza is still good? Debonairs pizza proves that wrong. Thin and crispy base is more thin and chewy, toppings are of extremely low quality and the cheese is tough. Extra star though because those weird little chicken nuggets were pretty decent.
