KFC Strand 2 (Beach Road) — Restaurant in Western Cape

Update: Popped in again on Wednesday to see if any improvements have been made in the overall service. The lady who helped me at least gave me a smile, but I'm afraid the service is still slow and disappointing. Tables are also not cleaned. The security guard hangs around inside (literally hangs on the countertop) instead of keeping the questionable characters away from the entrance. ⁉️ I had to wait for the chicken as it wasn't near cooked, but at least I got a very nice (fresh) burger. In future I will drive to a different KFC.

I've been there once and never again. Not only is the service bad but the characters hanging around outside the entrance makes me feel unsafe. I will rather drive a km or two to the one at Southside...

If i had the option of giving zero stars or a minus i would do that.

We arrived and wanted to order. So the lady in front of us said the card machine isn't working. We decided to go and withdraw money rather than waste time trying the card machine as well.

When we got back the same people were still there waiting for their food. After 15 minutes without communication from one of the 6 staff members i wanted my money back because other clients that came 5 minutes later than we did were most probably at home already with their meals in hand.

I waited more than 15 minutes for chips..... or that's what they said was taking so long.

When we got home it was old chips not even fresh.

So not going...

The workers behind the counter are greata and very sweet, but that is as far as service goes. The self-service machines were out of order(very dissappointing) I even tried to use my app it would not allow me to order at all, so there went any use of using online promotions. The soda machine was not working and they had no extra bottled juices(we had to go to another shop just to get something to drink) . The chicken was slimy and tasted terrible(we never finished it) . The chips were okay but slightly tasted of old oil. The krushers were bland and did not taste anything like the oreo ones we ordered. This is the last time I will ever go there.

I would not recommend this...
