Vilamoura Portuguese Grillhouse — Restaurant in Western Cape

Since seeing Barry Hilton's clip of Vilamoura, I have been so excited to pay them a visit. I finally got my chance yesterday. I couldn't make a choice of the menu, because everything on the menu looked good! However,I settled for the Prego Steak Roll. What a bad choice!! The Portuguese roll, the source and the chips were amazing! I managed to eat on half of the roll. The steak was as tough as an old leather boot. So,o disappointing!! The waitress took it away and said that she would tell the chef. That was it?? I was left still being hungry. I was force to order a roll to satisfy my hunger. 4 burnt slices of bread arrived at my table. My bill was R250. I felt very cheated and disappointed! The 2M Beers were a surprise. I last drank it in Maputo with great Portuguese food. Shall I go again to try the seafood?? I love...

Incredible little gem in strand. The food was absolutely exquisite (the steak and prawn combo and chicken trinchado both with rice). Incredible flavour and perfect portion sizes. The service was impeccable and the staff really friendly and gave us a little freebie for my husband’s birthday.
