This is a Korean beef omakase restaurant. The first atmosphere here was neat and the customer service was friendly.
There is a bar installed in the square first floor room, and depending on the reservation status of the guests, 4 chefs cook at the same time at 4 bars. The meal time is set to 1 hour and 30 minutes, so those who eat slowly may have a hard time adjusting. Also, at the same time, the chef cooks at each table bar and explains loudly, so you will hear the same explanation every time you taste. The presentation of the food was very interesting, but most of the meat was tough and difficult to chew.
There was also a 3-glass wine pairing course, and the wine list was decent.
Since most of the customers were young people, it felt like their tastes were in line with the current trend.
It was very interesting that you could choose two out of several salts made by the chefs themselves. It was nice to see their passion because it was salt made by them. The music list of repetitive, monotonous swing jazz coming from a single speaker installed on the ceiling was monotonous enough to disturb the meal, which was disappointing.
After all the meals, when we paid the bill, the gift of a bottle of salt that was used with the meal was nice.
If you are looking for a grill restaurant, this is a good restaurant to experience the current food trend, but the lack of a deep aftertaste is something that the customer will...
Read moreMy parents live in the area and we see a lot of ads and reviews of this place so we finally gave it a try.
We had the assorted plate. Man, except for the deungsim (sirloin) these were some of the toughest Hanwoo (korean beef) we've ever had. You choose your own meat from the fridge downstairs and grill it yourself upstairs.
For the price, the food is extremely mediocre (feels like a tourist trap). The, atmosphere is the most they have to offer. But you grill your own meat and given the structure of the table and the layout, it's very uncomfortable and hot. The charcoal is way too hot and close to the grill so the meat needs a lot of attention. The sides we ordered were a bit too spicy and salty (soy paste soup) or sweet (raw beef bibimbap). Overall it was not...
Read moreWe could write about the atmosphere, the condiments etc, but cutting to the chase, the beef we purchased was, aside from a couple of small pieces of filet, tough and chewy. On arrival, you select from various trays of meat, with some selections of 'premium' cuts available. Which we had. You then go up to the restaurant to cook it. Ultimately, we couldn't eat most of it (or were not prepared to), as it was basically all tough. The idea this was anything akin to wagyu or kobe quality is a joke. And it's not cheap, we spent around 160000 won on the meat. So, if you like tough steak, give this a go. Otherwise, you might want to...
