3 words: A fever dream. ✨ You’ll need like 2 hours to fully enjoy this place.
Drinks & cake: 4.8/5 ⭐️ Atmosphere: 4.9/5 ⭐️ Service: 4.8/5 ⭐️
Drinks and cake were surprisingly good! Came here for the decorations and didn’t expect the drinks to be good! Had the red whisper (Strawberry vanilla milk latte) and Kim Jung Eun banilla latte 🍓 Actual strawberries were used in the drink and not some cheap syrup or flavoring! ☕️ Kim Jung Eun banilla latte was sweet, but didn’t overpower the aroma of the coffee beans. ⭐️ Drinks didn’t dilute after awhile either, flavors were strong throughout! 🧀 The cheesecake was surprisingly good! We expected the cheesecake to be tiny but it was the size of my iphone…for only 2,000₩!!! It was soft, and fluffy! 😭 It was a bit hard to order cause the menu was all over the place but that’s the charm of the place right? 😭 Drinks were on the pricier side, but for the taste? I would do it again. A second drink is 50% (i forgot) off though!! AND you get another pack of duck food
Atmosphere of the place is right up my alley. It’s crazy how even with the amount of clutter all around, the place still remains clean! Not dusty! ⭐️Everywhere is a photo spot! Props all around! ⭐️ You never really know what to expect, just when you think that’s crazy, you enter another room to be wow-ed again 🦆 Stars of the show are of course, the ducks. They seem well-taken care of (coming from a vet student). They’re so comical! and they’re SO BIG!! (You get about 2-3 bags of food for the ducks when you get a drink)
Owner was always very attentive and friendly, striking a chat whenever he sees you. (You only get a chance to speak with him when you enter/leave)
All in all, WILL...
Read moreStumbled across this cafe on accident as we were making our way around the village. The pretty lights and decor wrapping the 3 story building caught my eyes and I was thrilled to see that the cafe was still opened.
Walking in, I was shocked in the most positive way. So many cute objects covered the interior, from ground to ceiling, the seating arrangements were so random, there was a bed, a cushioning mat enclosed by a huge teddy bear, and the list goes on. And that was just one story. There were props you could wear or hold and so many mirrors for you to take photos of. There are mini rooms and each looked different, then there is the floor below where you walk down a small Alice in Wonderful vibe flight of stairs. Make sure you talk to the parrot in the flowery tunnel space leading down! It's also quite fun to get lost. There is also another parrot to be found in the...bathroom! You must, must visit the bathroom! You will see why when you do. Then there is the garden outside where you can feed the "sharks" with the frozen corn and dried anchovies handed out by the cafe owner. There is another building across the pond that holds more seating areas, each having their own appeal.
I would describe this cafe as a cutesy chaotic cafe.
Oh, and the drinks offered are quite unique. They offer banana or watermelon coffee??? We got the banana coffee and strawberry latte, which were both really tasty. And there are heaters displayed in all the rooms and papers and coloring items for you to draw on and leave to be posted on the walls.
Overall, this is a must visit if you are ever visiting...
Read moreYou HAVE TO stop by this café, you won’t regret it !! We randomly stumbled upon it just looking for a quick coffee, and ended up discovering the most incredible place ever. I don’t even know how to describe it… it’s like a beautiful mix of chaos and creativity, weird in all the best ways. You can spend hours getting lost in this quirky maze : drawing, taking photos, playing with all the random objects lying around… and even feeding the owner’s three adorable ducks ! Please, take the time to chat with the owner, who is an amazing guy and an absolute ray of sunshine. I’m honestly surprised I haven’t seen any comment mention his story, which completely broke my heart (yes, I cried). He escaped North Korea by swimming in 2021 and tragically lost his two friends at sea. That explains all the cheeky jokes about Kim Jong Un scattered around the café, but more importantly, it gives you a glimpse into the soul of this place, overflowing with life, love, and resilience.
P.S. I almost forgot to mention but the drinks are delicious and...
