Korean casual dining dongnyeok — Restaurant in Busan

Slightly hidden jewel that I clocked in the taxi to the Fairfield Songdo Beach Hotel 🏨 It’s located between the hotel and the Songdo Cable Car 🚡then a short walk up the street. If you visit either, definitely do dinner here.

Quaint mom & pop local restaurant with a huge variety of donkatsu and other dishes. There was a self service banchan station with fresh daikon and other dishes. No sooner had we returned to the table with the aforementioned items and the owner was serving us with soup 🥣 (similar to a corn soup I had in Taiwan 🇹🇼) and a nice little shredded cabbage salad 🥗 Also a little bit of pineapple 🍍 to cleanse the palate.

The sauce on the pork cutlet was so nice on it’s own, but really glad I ordered the spicy 🌶️ and especially the upgrade to jumbo 🍽️ Not overly spicy but full of flavor with a nice bite 🌶️ It even had some fresh jalapeños inside. I would have come back the next night if not for leaving in the morning 🚆

Both owners were kind and welcoming from arrival to payment. Very accommodating with multiple foreign and vegan menus. Price for the portion and quality was amazing. 💳...

Had a lovely meal here on a visit to songdo beach , firstly the lady owner is so nice and helpful so that’s a good star in my book. Then there are lots of tasty local Korean choices on the menu and a sign inside that’s says can do all meals vegan if requested which is nice touch, I had the kimchi fried rice which was amazing , so flavourful and cooked really well, before the meal came the lady brought out 3 small starter dishes which I didn’t know I was getting but they were all delicious , a potato soup, a cabbage slaw and a pineapple ring , you also get to choose side dishes from a bar , various kimchi , macaroni salad , all very delicious, I al add o ordered the local draft beer which was ice cold and really refreshing. The cost is really cheap for all the tasty food you get, if you are in Busan I recommend you visit this place as you will have a memorable local...
