OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE Dongnae — Restaurant in Busan

Arriving was a bit of a challenge, the restaurant is on the 3rd floor, but in the lift lobby the signboard doesnt have the Outback logo and the description is in Korean only. Access from the front of the building has about 10 steps with no handrail so difficult for disabled, and the no-step entrance out back is in poor condition. Once get there, its a reasonable experience, and you won't leave hungry. The menu is mostly presented as "sets", with some steaks priced per 100g, so check total when you order as they arent cheap, and you might not find a combo you want. Service staff very helpful explaining things though. The food is decent and generally good sized portions (except the soup for some reason), our steak was cooked as requested (medium rare) but wasn't tender. Restaurant is Australian themed but that doesn't extend to meat, all sourced from US Membership scheme worthwhile, good discounts and bonus such as 2nd glass...

The Chipotle salad here costs over 20,000 won and they don't give you much salad. When we asked if we could have more greens in it, the waitress said they couldn't do it. You can get a much bigger salad at Tous Les Jour or Paris Baggette for about 6,000 won. The food overall is pretty good at Outback, but the portions are small. Unfortunately, most Koreans don't know that since they're not from the West and will pay the high prices as if it's such a special place to go or something, which is why they can charge high prices. A normal looking, overcrowded place is not a special place to go to, and the nice customer service doesn't make up for absurdly high prices. It also seems they are trained to discount customers if they have an issue, but they very much try not to give one. We definitely did...

Outback steak house is one of the best restaurants in my city, Busan. Many kinds of steaks and many side dish like breads and pastas dishes are in menu. The steaks are certainly perfect and the flavors are really nice. One of the side dishes, pre-dinner bread is great. And pastas are also good too. Although the restaurant is in a high building, the interior is not too bad. The dishes served little lately, but staffs are pretty kind. The price is absolutely not cheap, but it isn't too burdensome. This restaurant is worth expecting great taste and service, and visitors will have the best...
