Taibin — Restaurant in Busan

The place is absolutely gorgeous, with great Thai food AND offering of Durian drinks!

Do note that it is on the pricier side - however the food is very delicious and gorgeous decor to keep your eyes entertained - whether you sit outside in the huts or inside!

The huts are by reservation so it's recommended to do that if your preference IS such. Also, the menus are a bit different in the sense the Set Course menus must be ordered as part of your primary order - you can add stuff always but just wanted to let you know.

At night time, the outside of the restaurant is lit with beautiful lights and if you're in the first floor hit area - looks like a dream! You can also sit in the huts during the winter time as they each have their own heating element.

If you're inside the restaurant, it has more of the jungle feel with cute mini figure decorations on shelves by the entrance and cashier's desk that you'll find fun that adds a bit of whimsical touch.

As far as food recommendations goes, just be aware if you get the Crab Curry (뿌님팟봉커리) that there ARE thin crab shell pieces in them, so be very careful as you eat. You can pick it out easily if you eat small bites of it at a time. We highly recommend this item as a unique tasting experience along with Durian Smoothie.

Keep in mind if this is the first time you're trying Durian the smoothie itself is a STEEP price to pay. So you're better off trying from someone who already likes Durian to let you take a sip - if you're feeling adventurous.

They have a palate cleansing tea in a carafe they serve at the table but we also suggest getting cold water in general as most of the foods WILL be temperature hot.
