This dumpling restaurant is a local institution, well-known among residents for specializing exclusively in dumplings for over 40 years. I visited on the recommendation of a friend who grew up in the area and has been coming here for years. After just one bite of the fried dumpling, I immediately understood why my friend insisted I try it-the juicy, flavorful filling brought a smile to my face.

I also tried the steamed dumplings, which were equally excellent. I highly recommend sampling both the fried and steamed varieties. In addition, I tasted a freshly steamed bun filled with sweet red bean paste. If you visit, don’t miss out on this delightful treat as well.

One of the most impressive aspects of this restaurant is that more than half of the space is dedicated to the kitchen, where several chefs are constantly making dumplings by hand. The dumplings you receive are made to order, not pre-cooked, ensuring maximum freshness. Because of this, there are only a few tables available for dine-in. However, this shouldn’t be a concern-you can easily take your dumplings to go and enjoy them while walking around, or bring them back to your accommodation.

Surprisingly, the dumplings here are very affordable-probably about half the price you’d pay for similar dumplings in Seoul. If you’re visiting this city, I strongly recommend making a stop at this restaurant.

모든 메뉴가 6천 원 균일가로 판매되는, 말 그대로 극강의 가성비 만두집입니다. 평소에 만두를 특별히 즐기거나 일부러 맛집을 찾아다니는 편은 아닌데도, 이곳 만두는 종류별로 다 괜찮고 맛있어서 인상적이었습니다.

고기만두를 제외한 대부분의 메뉴를 주문해 보았는데, 특히 고추만두와 김치만두는 속이 알차고 피가 얇아 식감이 매우 좋았습니다. 그중에서도 고추만두는 매콤하면서도 자극적이지 않고, 감칠맛이 살아 있어서 단연 최고였습니다. 개인적으로 강력히 추천드릴 만한 메뉴예요.

왕만두와 찐빵은 피가 도톰하고 쫄깃한 편이었고, 찐빵 속은 너무 달지 않아 질리지 않고 담백하게 즐길 수 있었으며, 왕만두 속은 무난하고 깔끔한 맛이었습니다.

식당 내부에는 테이블이 2개 정도만 마련되어 있어 내부 식사보다는 포장해 가시는 분들이 훨씬 많았습니다. 방문 시에는 포장이나 전화 주문을 염두에 두시는 것이 좋을 것 같습니다.
