I don't expect much when I buy specialty from a certain area/region. They are usually overpiced and nothing special. However, this chestnut pie is different. It is worthy to pay and enjoy the unique taste. The pastry is crispy and buttery and the inside is sweet and nutty. Great combination. I will def buy this again!

밤파이랑 팡도르 먹었어요. 밤파이 안에는 밤이 한알씩 들어가있고 밤을 으깬듯한 쨈이 들어가있는데 많이 안달고 페스츄리 빵이랑 잘 어울려서 맛있었어요. 팡도르에도 나름 밤이 좀 들어있어서 빵 자체는 좀 마른듯한 느낌이었지만 갠춘했어요. 다만 생크림이 올라간 팡도르랑 아무것도 안올라간 팡도르 차이가 뭔지 직원분께 물어봤는데 둘 다 안에 생크림은 들어있고 위에 생크림을 한번 더 올리나 안올리냐의 차이라고 했는데 ㅡㅡ 그래서 생크림 적당히 먹자고 안올려져있는거 샀는데 ㅡㅡ 생크림 없는 팡도르였어요 ㅡㅡ 넘나 자신감있게 설명하셔서 진짜인줄 ㅜㅜㅜ 숙소와서 레알 속상해서 다음날 다시 가서 생크림 있는거 샀어요 ㅠㅠ 직원분의 빅픽쳐였나요..?

Chestnut pie (bam-pie) is pretty nice. Surface pastry is crispy and soft, inner side is filled with mashed chestnut which provides unique sweet flavor. It will not be as sweet as mochi or other sweet desserts though. If you know you enjoy subtly sweet flavor, highly recommend. 밤파이의 겉에 파이 부분은 바삭하면서 부드럽고, 속에 밤 으깨넣은 부분 자극적이지 않고 차분하게 달콤한 맛이어서 입맛에 아주 잘 맞았습니다.
