i was so surprised to find the best mexican food ive had so far in gwangju haha! this place felt like a piece of america that was magically teleported away. the carne asada burrito was insane, it was perfectly rolled and with the perfect ratio of rice, crema fresca, salsa, and carne.

Apparently the chorizo is made in house so i had one for takeaway. Also very very delicious with a solid amount of cheese to accompany the chorizo. They have some vegetarian options which are delicious, and the staff are nice and speak great english because they lived in america. Good for when fellow tourists are homesick :)

I just discovered a new Taco place in Gwangju and I am excited to go back. I got the set for 1 which includes 2 tasty tacos, very SCRUMPTIOUS nachos and your choice of a carbonated drink for ₩19,000. Honestly, I ate all my plates clean.

The staff is quite friendly. They were even kind enough to offer one free taco.

Oh, remember that you pay AFTER you eat unlike most Korean places. I was one of the people they had to remind to pay 😅😅

I had a wonderful dining experience at 하이스트리트! The food was delicious (맛), especially the quesadilla. The tortilla was perfectly made, and the meat was flavorful and tender. The owner was incredibly friendly and nice, which added a personal and welcoming touch to the experience. While the food is great, slightly adjusting the prices could make it more accessible for students. I'll definitely return and highly recommend this...
