Says accepts Amex global lounge access (tried Amex Plat), but it does not. In fact, it only accepts Priority Pass in relation to the Amex Plat card. The SIM cards for foreigners in this country purchased at the airport does not allow you to make calls, so if you don't have your complementary priority pass account activated (I didn't), you will br SOL, unless you can somehow borrow a phone somewhere and make a customer support call. Long story short, if you're used to accessing lounges with your Amex card, it doesn't work here...

I also have MasterCard Lounge Key, and this was also not accepted for some reason, when it literally says on the sign outside the lounge. I double checked my remaining # of visits, and there was plenty, and my membership is good until 2024, yet it was not accepted. Someone else in my group tried their Loungr Key also, and it did not work. For the Amex, I can kind-of understand the systemic issue why it didn't work, but I have no idea why the Loungr Key didn't work. The kiosk employee was trying to scan the card and it was not working, and they did not try to manually enter the card #, so it might be a dumb barcode scanner issue.

I'll also add that the employees at the front desk were pretty rude about it when I was trying to access the lounge with my Amex and got turned down, and then trying...

We had an extremely disappointing visit to the Matina Lounge at Incheon Airport. Despite having valid Priority Pass access and being entitled to a guest through my company, the lounge staff refused to honour our access and were rude and dismissive when we asked for clarification. Instead of helping, they pressured us to pay full price for our 6-year-old child, even though she barely ate or used any lounge services.

The lounge itself was underwhelming. The hot food appeared to be recycled from a previous day—dry, lukewarm, and lacking freshness. The watermelon was dull and tasteless, clearly not freshly prepared. For a premium lounge, the food quality was far below acceptable standards.

We expected the Matina Lounge to offer a peaceful and welcoming environment before our flight. Instead, we were treated poorly, made to feel like a burden, and offered subpar service and food. This is not what Priority Pass members or families deserve.

I've reported this experience to Priority Pass and American Express and sincerely hope they review their partnership with this location. Until major improvements are made, I would not recommend this lounge to any...

I had high hopes for this lounge, but it turned out to be one of the worst airport lounge experiences I’ve ever had. The queue at the entrance was incredibly long — around 40 people were waiting, and the line moved painfully slow, roughly 2 people every 15 minutes. I waited nearly an hour just to get inside. That’s unacceptable for a facility that’s supposed to offer convenience and comfort.

Once inside, things didn’t get any better. The food selection was very limited, and what was available was bland and unappetizing. It felt like no real effort was made to provide quality meals or snacks. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful — not once did I see anyone offer assistance or even greet guests with a smile. The place was also overcrowded and noisy, with no peaceful corner to relax in.

Frankly, this lounge failed on every front: long waits, poor service, bad food, and no sense of hospitality. I would not recommend Matina Lounge T1 West to anyone looking for a premium airport experience. You’re better off waiting in the general...

I visited the Matina Lounge in Incheon Terminal 1 before a flight, and was looking for somewhere to relax and grab a bite to eat for an hour. The lounge is easy to find once you’re through immigration, and it was easy to gain access using my Priority Pass. The lounge is quite small, but the team there do a fantastic job of clearing and turning over tables, so we didn’t have to wait long. There is a huge array of food and drinks options available, one of the most impressive I’ve seen in a third party lounge. There was a huge salad bar, ramen, a range of snacks and some fantastic hot dishes to enjoy – the sweet and sour chicken was fantastic. There is also a range of hot and cold drinks available, including some beer and wine. The lounge itself isn’t particularly relaxing, I would argue that it’s more a food lounge than somewhere to sit and relax before a flight, but if you’re hungry this is the place to come.

The lounge is located on the second level of the departures hall. This is my second time visiting the Matina Lounge @ Incheon Aiport and I am absolutely in love with it. I was able to get access to the lounge via Priority Pass, however there are other programs that offer access to this lounge. The lounge atmosphere is pretty standard, however whats sets this lounge apart from others that I have visited is the food. The food selection and quality is fantastic. They offer a wide variety of Asian cuisine with a salad and dessert bar. My absolute favorite was the japanese curry rice and deep fried dumplings. Beverages included are soda, water, tea, coffee and beer. Left the lounge very happy and absolutely stuffed. Definitely worth the visit when departing from ICN.

This is a pay per use lounge. As of the time of this review the cost is $39.00. This is definitely a place to go if you have a long layover in the airport. This place is not big and there is only limited number of office equipment. But that's okay since nowadays all you need is your laptop or cellphone to conduct most of your businesses. The impression I have about this lounge is that it is more like a buffet dining place more then anything else. They do serve a good variety of food in buffet style. I was able to get some rest, some work done and had a lot of food there. It was very busy in the early hour. I waited until 9:30 AM and the lounge began to have more seats available.
