교래 숲애칼국수 — Restaurant in Jeju

We stumbled on this homey restaurant when we were hungry and the owner was so welcoming. He spoke a little English and explained the small menu to us - chicken pot noodle soup, mung bean pancake, mandu, cold soba. The chicken pot for 2 was huge, could have fed 3-4 people, but was very comforting and tasty. Pancake was crispy, mandu was large and filling and the cold soba was well made. The owner seemed to be a one man show, cooking and serving and cleaning. Yet he was a great host and very friendly....

Friendly owner and service..he speaks a bit of English and was helpful with our food orders..portions are large so order to share- eg chicken noodle soup, cold soba. Highly recommend their pancake, mandok (dumplings) and cold soba..home...
