Godom — Restaurant in Jeju

Hey, if you lived in interior like me(I'm from Calgary), and never tried lived mackerel sashimi, stuf and try this. If ur interested in raw fish, this is new experience for you. Cause even in Korea is not common to eat raw fish for mackerel. People think mackerel has fishy taste so raw fish of mackerel is horrible but no. Mackerel sashimi is not even fishy(has to use lived mackerel, not frozen) and taste really savory.

Okdom (Tile fish) sashimi is really soft and gentle. If yoy don't like chewy taste, try this. price wise pretty high but it worth.

The reason why I recommand this place to foreign ppl like you is you don't have to deal with seller like in fish market. And also cleaned place design make you feel better. XD

I'm not sure their staff can speak english or not but should be ok, they are really nice and smiled. Or you can just show my picture and tell them you wanna...

I wish I could be eat here every day. We came back twice and can’t wait to come back again! Both the quality and preparation of the each dish is taken with care. The warmth and sincerely that each staff showed us despite our limited (at best) communication was so heart-warming. It allowed us to enjoy the food of Jeju with beautiful memories. We couldn’t be more thankful and fulfilled in our meal! Our favorites are the sashimi plate, abalone porridge, grilled mackerel and sea urchin soup. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. Weather was bad but we were strolling the beach and thought we should get dinner before heading back to our hotel in Jeju City. This place was open on Monday. No regrets. Everything we ordered were fresh and tasty (not the ones that feels it has a lot of additive but natural blend of fresh flavours).
