This place was close to my hotel, but l went after seeing a great review by another Google Reviewer from 6 days before l went. I loved the side dishes, but l think l ordered the wrong dishes for me even though l am a seafood lover. The raw sea urchin is an acquired taste. The grilled abalone ( my first) l thought l would love but found it fatty. I think a spicy sauce would have made it great for me. The complimentary tempura squid and fish bits were beautiful. My biggest letdown was, surprisingly, the seaweed abalone soup, which in my head l thought would be the star of the show, but it was bland. No taste 😌. If there was salt on the table, l would have added a tablespoon on it in the soup and l bearly add salt to my food. I think something when wrong with the dish and l'm willing to try it again,...

Yesssss. I finally had the seafood I came to Korea for!

Totally outstanding! I had an amazing evening at Jeju Haemulbap. The chef, Ms. Maehwa Jihye Lee, hosted me as if I were her long-lost family member. The amazing food just kept on coming.

It was the freshest, tastiest, most delicious seafood ever. I have no doubt that the chef or Jeju’s Haenyeo dove that evening to harvest that food for me.

The food here was delicious, and the hospitality was beyond amazing. Definitely the best experience I have had on the island so far.
