Lamb and Black — Restaurant in Jeju

Only giving this place 1 star because once I was actually able to eat, the food tasted good. It was such an embarrassing experience trying to actually get in. We walked in and sat down, were promptly ignored, then when we finally went over to the cooks, were told they were busy and we had to wait outside. After a while they texted and we were seated in a corner away from all the other guests. I then watched 3 families walk in and get fauned over. Our food was cooked and it did taste good but the first impression left such a sour taste in my mouth it was hard to enjoy it. As we were eating, a few other guests left. 🥩 Lamb & Black – hands down the BEST lamb I’ve had in Korea!

Located near Sangumburi, Lamb & Black completely blew me away. I don’t usually like lamb skewers — but this style of grilled lamb? I’m obsessed. zero odor, just buttery soft and super flavorful.

Honestly… this was way better than the black pork I had the night before 😆 And yes, they grill it for you from start to finish 🙌

We ended the meal with a lamb hot pot, and I was worried it might be too strong… but the broth was rich, spicy, and absolutely delicious There’s no photo, but the mentaiko scallion rice that came with the set was amazing too!
