탐라간장게장 — Restaurant in Seogwipo-si

We found this place while walking the main street and turned down a slight alleyway. (Don't worry it's safe!) We are non-Koreans and speak very basic, minimal Korean. However, we used google translate and google reviews' images to decipher the menu and then we showed the lady boss what we wanted to order. The lady boss was very kind to us and friendly! We had the 1 person soy sauce marinated crab (1 bowl of rice comes with a crab that's chopped up into chunks so its easy to eat the flesh). I recommend the egg inside the crab shell as they added an extra seasoning sauce there that made the egg paste taste even better! Eat it with the hot rice because its so good. We also had their grilled mackerel fish which was even more delicous when eaten with the perilla leaf! Lastly, we drank the bowl of sea urchin seaweed soup which was filled with good amounts of sea urchin! Lady boss was very kind to give us an extra bowl of rice on the house!!
