탐라간장게장 — Restaurant in Seogwipo-si

We found this place while walking the main street and turned down a slight alleyway. (Don't worry it's safe!) We are non-Koreans and speak very basic, minimal Korean. However, we used google translate and google reviews' images to decipher the menu and then we showed the lady boss what we wanted to order. The lady boss was very kind to us and friendly! We had the 1 person soy sauce marinated crab (1 bowl of rice comes with a crab that's chopped up into chunks so its easy to eat the flesh). I recommend the egg inside the crab shell as they added an extra seasoning sauce there that made the egg paste taste even better! Eat it with the hot rice because its so good. We also had their grilled mackerel fish which was even more delicous when eaten with the perilla leaf! Lastly, we drank the bowl of sea urchin seaweed soup which was filled with good amounts of sea urchin! Lady boss was very kind to give us an extra bowl of rice on the house!! Doing the carnivore thing so I couldn't have all the delicious food my family was eating and it was killing me. The soy crab is one of my favorite dishes and it looked soo good but... no soy :(. I did eat the mackeral and it was a good size and completely deboned, crispy and oily just the way...

전국구 간장게장이라고 생각합니다.

음식 주문 메뉴: 간장게장 1인분, 양념게장 1인분 양념게장은 한정수량이라고 되어있어 시켰습니다. 맛이 나쁘지않았으나 역시 간장게장이 으뜸이긴 하더군요.

게장이 전반적으로 자극적인 짠맛과는 거리가 멉니다. 간장이 참 맛있습니다. 간장게정에 파채를 같이 얹혀줍니다. 게딱지에 밥을 비벼먹거나 간장에 비벼먹을때 파채를 같이 비벼주면 파향이 적절히 베어 아주 좋습니다. 밥 한그릇만 먹고싶었는데 역시나 실패했네요.

서비스 아기의자가 구비되어 있어 10개월 아기와 방문했음에도 좋았습니다. 반찬이 정갈하고 부족한 반찬은 요청하면 바로 갖다주셨습니다.

분위기 일반 로컬 게장집 분위기와 다르지 않습니다.

다 먹고 나가는길에 부모님께 택배를 보내려고 1kg를 추가로 구매했습니다. 택배값까지...
