Donkey and I were on a round-island cycling adventure in Jeju and stopped by Jeju Dessert Cafe Page Two for a quick treat. We were looking for a place to rest and refuel before continuing our journey, and this cafe was the perfect spot.
The cafe has a rustic industrial design that’s both stylish and comfortable. The exposed brick walls, concrete accents, and simple lighting create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. We were drawn to the communal tables and metal chairs, which added to the cafe's cool and casual vibe.
Donkey was craving ice cream, and the aunty recommended the Hokkien ice cream and hotteok. We decided to get both for takeaway and enjoyed them as we continued our cycling journey. Both were delicious. The ice cream was refreshing, and the hotteok was warm and gooey. Hotteok is a traditional Korean street food, like a sweet pancake filled with brown sugar, cinnamon, and sometimes nuts. It's a popular treat, especially in the winter, and it's a great way to warm up and satisfy your sweet tooth.
The cafe also offers a wide variety of other desserts, drinks, and even hot dogs, so there’s something for everyone. We were impressed by the menu’s diversity and the cafe’s overall charm.

Read moreMy group and I came to this establishment to have a snack after hiking the nearest trail. Although the snacks, teas, and cold drinks were fairly good, the attitude of the lady attending this establishment was very rude. To start with, In English she told us not to share certain snacks, for not good reason. Secondly, we saw her drop some of the mint leaves on the dirty ground, pick them up, and put it on some of our drinks. A while after, she scolded one of our party members about the way she was talking to her in Korean, although he was very polite to her. Lastly, as we were leaving, she overheard that we were doing outside barbecue on the evening, and it started raining, so she made a snide comment saying that we are unable to do barbecue now, as to make fun of us. All in all, good snack place, but the service was terrible.
Thank you, 이모.
Ps. We still had a really delicious barbecue, regardless...
