Googled for restaurants near Seopjikoji. Chose this restaurant as it served Korean seafood & is operated by haenyeo. Ordered abalone porridge and sea urchin noodles. Portions of abalone & sea urchin were very little. An earlier review said staff were not friendly, it's true - they were having their lunch & we had to wait 10 minutes for the waitress to bring us the menu. Restaurant does have spectacular views.

휘닉스섭지코지 입구에 있는 해녀의집~ 어느 불로거께서 식당이 붙어있지만 다른 식당인데 왼쪽은 전복죽, 겡이죽만... 오른쪽은 라면, 칼국수만 한다해서 어디갈까 고민했는데 왼쪽 입구 앞 유리에 글씨가 써있다. <죽만 드시려면 왼쪽 죽과 면을 함께 드시려면 오른쪽으로 가라는 문구가... 오른쪽 들어가서 물어보니 같이 하는데 면은 할머님들께서 국물 흘릴까봐 오른쪽에서만 하고 죽은 이동하는데 큰 불편함이 없어 양쪽에서 주문해도 갔다주는거란다. 죽은 심심하니 맛있다. 짠거 좋아하시는분은 비츄~!! 겡이죽은 작은 게를 갈아서 만든다는데 씁쓸한 맛 때문에 호불호가 갈린다 하던데 입맛 까다로운 아내는 못 먹을 줄 알았는데 겡이죽 거의 먹고 난 어쩔 수 없이 전복죽 먹음. 해물칼국수는 이맛이야 할 정도는 아니여서 좀 아쉽다.

Very underwhelming crab porridge. Tasteless - a bowl of 12000 won gruel, pretty expensive for what you're getting. The sashimi might be good? Who knows. Shld stick to the abalone stuff I guess. Ramyeon wasn't on the menu...
