Takuma Sushi Container is a popular sushi spot on Jeju Island, known for its fresh, high-quality ingredients and casual dining atmosphere. The restaurant operates out of a container, which adds to its unique charm and makes it a trendy spot for both locals and tourists.

Here’s what you need to know before going: The sushi is made with fresh, locally sourced seafood, including Jeju’s famous abalone and other specialties. Takuma Sushi Container is relatively small, so seating is limited. It’s a good idea to arrive early or be prepared to wait, especially during peak dining hours. The menu includes sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes, with a focus on simple, fresh flavors. The restaurant has a casual, laid-back vibe, perfect for a quick meal or a relaxed dining experience. It’s located near Seongsan Ilchulbong, making it a convenient stop if you're exploring the eastern part of the island. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food, but it may be a bit higher than typical casual eateries in the area. The restaurant may not accept reservations, so be prepared to queue up during busy times. It’s a great place for sushi lovers looking for fresh, high-quality options on...

Design of restaurant is pretty good. Orion draft beer also good.

But

except that, everyrhing was so disappointed. Tables are so sticky. Sushi rice wasn't enough. I don't usually like lots of rice but it was too less compre to fish. And why use basil on sushi?? Basil taste destory all fish flavour. That is really awful.

Red udon was not bad but easy to sick of it after couple sips.

overall, I would never recommand to my friend or known people even I didn't try whole menu. Sushi place must sushi taste is good. Some pieces were good but as I mentioned before, sushi rice isn't enough.

One more thing, price is way too much than quality.

I don't understand how they got many...

Wow. Excellent and fairly priced Sushi. The two chefs gave us an amuse with some cucumbered prawns and braised mackerel, salad with peanutcrunch, all in small batches. The Tuna Nigiri was a blast, melting on our tongue. We also liked the Mixed Jeju style with local seafood. Also the porky fatty hot Udon-Noodle-Soup was very good. Had some special Rice-Porridge with cured and fried black pork which was too strong for our taste.

There's no Menu in english, but we were luck, as the really friendly Chef explained all dishes to us. Thanks once again for the...
