정대포 갈매기전문 — Restaurant in Seoul

We found this place close to our hotel that opened late until 12am on a Sunday (2am all other days).

The service was very friendly and they also had an English menu available. There is a minimum of 2 servings to get the grill going. We ordered the pork belly, skirt, rice and a cold noodle.

As part of the meal, we were provided with side dishes (kimchi, garlic, perilla leaves, gochujang chilli and lettuce), sauces (chilli soy sauce and ssamjang), soybean paste soup and also egg poured on the side of the hot plate. We put some kimchi and spring onions into the egg and it was a hit.

Overall, it was a great meal with decent quality meat at 15,000...

Visited with friends, abet this is a very popular after work drinking place among colleagues and friends for grill pork and soju. Especially popular is the mix of soju and beer, in the ratio of 3-7. Then add in grilled pork belly to amp up the evening makes for a wonderful drinking party among the boys. Although this was a venue visited by Anthony Bourdain in his series, it doesn't particularly stand out in terms of the food. before we came to Korea, we got tons of "suggestedmusttryrestaurant" on our 6days trip plan, just pick this bbq restaurant randomly because it's just near where we stay(glad mapo hotelonly 10mins away max even if you r moonwalking) and because its still open on our first day trip(actually it's around 1030 at night),and its smell so good outside.
