An absolute disappointment of a coffee shop that speaks to the unspoken truth about older generation Koreans and their hatred against foreigners.
I went up to the counter to order coffee and they refuse to look at me (Korean) nor my wife (Caucasian). We stood there politely asking if they are taking any orders right now and no one answered my question. I asked again the second time, only to be met with “hey someone help him (in Korean)”.
Immediately after when another Korean guy went up and asked how much the cookies were that were in front of me, one of the old lady immediately dropped what she was doing and rang him up.
When I saw the orders being punched in on the screen, I confronted her asking “hey what about us? We were in line and here first.”
The guy refused to make eye contact with me and she ignored me entirely. She did not even look at me, then proceeded to take his payment then walked away.
Mind you there are other customers of all races behind me waiting and he got preferential treatment in my eyes.
I walked away because I did not want to drink their coffee and support their business. When I looked back to see if anyone else encountered the same, the couple behind me were standing there without help either for few minutes.
Perhaps I’m wrong. There were other foreigners drinking coffee so I know they were served, eventually. But it is hard to not be upset in the heat of the moment and find any other justification as to their lack of respect and service for customers.
Lastly, waterfall is great but it is under a bridge that drops powders of concrete from the bridge above when a car drives by and is filled with what seemed to be homeless people below the deck where you sit to enjoy the coffee.
Overall, I am bitter and would...
Read moreRecently visited this cafe for its waterfall view, but our experience with the service was awful.
The staff were trying avoid serving foreigners, directing us towards the kiosk even though we waited a long time in queue for it and there was another queue for kiosks. She also refused us card payment, despite the machine being in front of us and then we later saw the staff let other non-foriengers pay by card.
What was worst was the waiting time, we ended up waiting 50 minutes for 2 drinks. Many people were waiting over 30 minutes for their drinks, they had to stop taking orders temporarily due to backlog of orders and everything seemed very poorly handled and customers were being encouraged to go to other cafes for drinks.
I feel the extended waiting time for 2 simple drinks (early grey and a latte) was ridiculous, and the way they treated foreigners was really rude, if it wasn't for the waterfall, the cafe has nothing else going for it.
Then again, you can enjoy the views without going to this cafe, would highly recommend you get drinks...

i got✨🍽️:
☕️caramel latte 🥪fruit sandwich
this place was SO busy, constantly people everywhere! therefore, you could only secure a seat after purchasing something from the cafe which was understandable!🙂↕️from some savory items, desserts and drinks, i chose their caramel latte and fruit sandwich💖this was my breakfast for the day, simple and tasty!
