If you're looking for a value-for-money meal in Korea, Cochon Tonkatsu is the place to go! This cozy little spot specializes in one thing and one thing only pork tonkatsu and they do it incredibly well.

What sets Cochon Tonkatsu apart is its affordable pricing. You can get a generous, crispy slice of pork tonkatsu for just 4,000 won. Want more? They offer two slices for 6,000 won and three slices for only 8,000 won. It’s amazing value, especially when you compare it to other tonkatsu restaurants that charge around 12,000 won per meal.

The meal doesn’t stop with the tonkatsu. Each order comes with rice, soup, and pickles, making it a complete, hearty meal at a fraction of the cost of other stalls. The quality of the tonkatsu is great too—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned just right.

I can't believe you can get a tonkatsu set for only 4000 krw! This photo is the single serving set. You can also get a two pieces tonkatsu set for 5000 krw or three pieces for 6000 krw. Take out for the one piece tonkatsu set is 5000krw. Cash only

The tonkatsu was hot and crispy, and the single tonkatsu set was more than filling. Highly recommend checking this place out for great value! It is a small place so seating is limited and you may have to wait.

Bottle water is 1.000₩. The seats are around 24 and not so-big-size restaurant, so don't be surprised if you are asked to join table with other customers. Rest time 4-5pm. Open until 7pm (I visited on June 24, 2024). No dressing sauce for the salad (too bad), just plain...
