Damotori h — Restaurant in Seoul

I braved a cold, rainy night to come here before I flew off the next day and I’m certainly glad I did. Let me preface this by saying that all the makgeollis you’ve had at restaurants and convenience stores are trash, until you’ve tried this place. I come from a craft beer aficionado perspective and I must say, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here. The sampler is a great launchpad. After that, the gentleman chef gave me cracking recommendations one after the other. To eat, I had the pork+kimchi dish which was pretty good and complimented the drinks well. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, over the 7+ craft beer breweries I’ve been to this trip. My only regret is that I could not try every single thing on the menu before...

Apparently this place serves amazing premium makgeolli (I don’t drink) but i was pleasantly surprised that they have decent options for vegetarians!

Mushroom Pancake: 5 stars this was outstanding. I’ve only ever seen kimchi pancake and seafood pancake but this has lovely fluffy texture and the mushrooms are fresh

The vibes was cool and the makgeolli was great and the food was awesome. We had the makgeolli tester first which had 5 types so we can choose which one we would like. The best for us was the yuzu flavor so we ordered a bottle. For food - the beef tartare is highly recommended. We also had the seafood pancake which was nice. Price is also reasonable.
