The little spare time I had during my last visit Seoul I dedicated to finding some of the best specialty coffee places. In a city where coffee is so abundant it can be difficult to find the best coffee so I used Beanhunter to find the best rated places. Funnel was among those but it was located in an area where I don't think many tourists go, but if they love coffee I think they should! Not only did I have the most interesting espresso I've tasted in Korea there (and pretty decent hand drip coffee), but the owner also happened to be very knowledgeable about coffee and coffee culture, and he also shows a lot of interest in his customers. I really recommend this place! Its warm environment blended with the aroma of the finnest coffee makes it a perfect place to sit and enjoy some reading. I came into Lee's coffee shop with a Korean friend, and we were really tired after a long day walking. Funnel Coffee Shop gave us an cozy and warm feeling, relax with friendly owner Lee.
