Antidote — Restaurant in Seoul

It's only my second winter with this bar, and I honestly can't believe it hasn't been forever.

Antidote has quickly become my go-to place, and I still can’t get enough of it after more than a year of regular visits. I first discovered the bar when two of the talented bartenders were guest bartending at another spot, and I was immediately drawn in by their unique cocktails — especially BASIL, which is still my uncontested all-time favorite. That drink alone was enough to bring me back, but it wasn’t long before I fell in love with the vibe, the staff, and of course, many more of their fantastic drinks.

The bartenders here are simply amazing. Each of the three brings something unique to the table, and I love how their personalities shine through not only in the cocktails they craft, but also in the way they converse and interact. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know each of them little by little over time, and truly hope to continue building those connections. It’s that rare combination of skill and personality that makes this place really close to my heart.

Antidote has been a bar I’ve wanted to visit for years. As an American, finally getting to drink at antidote was a pleasure. The menu is thoughtfully crafted and the bartenders make you feel at home. Any question I had they were happy to answer, even teaching me the history of the spirits in their specialty cocktails. The vibe of the bar is moody and comfy, with a high end feel. The bartenders even assured me to feel no pressure as they all spoke English. 10/10 would recommend this bar to any native or foreigner! It was such an amazing experience!

Absolutely loved this place! Hands down one of the best bars in Seoul. The atmosphere is stylish yet cozy, with great lighting and music that sets the perfect vibe whether you’re out with friends or on a date. The bartenders are incredibly skilled, every cocktail we tried was a masterpiece, both in taste and presentation. They even asked about our preferences and created custom drinks tailored to our tastes. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Prices are fair for the quality, and the whole experience felt like a hidden gem in the city. Can’t wait...
