Haenam Chunilgwan — Restaurant in Seoul

Haenam Chunilgwan is an experience of flavor and presentation and is well deserving of its recognitions.

Dining takes places in private rooms creating a quiet and blissful experience centered solely around the food. The thirteen courses were unique, beautifully presented, and provided with a wonderful overview of their origins. The portions were well sized and beyond generous given how many courses there were.

The variety was excellent and we enjoyed every single platter. We were lucky enough to get the unique option of skatefish, which, as they noted to us at the onset isn't to everyone's taste with quite a pungent smell, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The kimchi, pork, fish and beef options were simply delicious.
