Hohosikdang Seongsu — Restaurant in Seoul

I have been several times to the Ikseong-dong branch, and I have to say both the Tonkatsu (15 000 Won) as well as the Premium Salmon (19 000 Won) taste better in the Ikseon-dong branch.

The tonkatsu is not as juicy in Seongsu compared to Ikseon-dong. The colour as well as the taste of the premium salmon in Ikseon-dong was better as well. However, the texture of the salmon was great.

I really enjoyed this japanese restaurant, the omu-rice I ordered was huge but the flavor was really good and so was the sukiyaki shown in the picture. The atmosphere was jazzy and warm. It a nice trendy place to go with friends...

약간은 일본에서 식사하는 듯한 기분이 들도록 세팅한 분위기와 인테리어가 좋았고 특히 눈길을 사로잡는 외관부터 한 몫 한다. 네이버나 다음 리뷰의 평점이 2점 대 임에 반해 내가 가본 바로는 점수를 뺄게 없었다. 불친절? 고기냄새? 그럴리가...물론 한번 가서 판단하는 것 부터가 문제가 될수 있지만 악평을 한 그들도 마찮가지 아닌가ㅋ 연어는 보통의 선을 살짝 넘은 생연어라 반가웠고 돈카츠는 끝부분에 비계를 일부러 넣어준건지 모르겠지만 나는 일부러라도 넣어주는 비계를 좋아한다ㅋ 솔직히 그거 없었으면 뻑뻑하다고만 생각했을거다. 다만 아쉬운건 돈카츠 두조각 이후 세조각부터는 온기 덕에 튀김옷이 과하게 눅눅해지는건데 안 그런 곳도 있으니 분명 눅눅하지 않게 하는 방법이 있지 않을까...욕심을 굳이 꺼내 발라 보자면 이거 하나? 친절하고, 깨끗하고, 아름답고, 맛있고, 가격은...솔직히 싸진 않지만 괜찮다ㅋ
