Iyo Iyo Sushi — Restaurant in Seoul

I hate repeating restaurants but this is the one place to make that exception. Absolutely incredible. From the food to the service- this is one of the best omakase experiences I’ve ever had. I’m a former New Yorker who has been and traveled to Japan many times and am blown away by the quality of this fish and the price at this small restaurant in Seoul.

We even went again, in between our hotel check out and train and the wait staff even helped us carry our bags out to the taxi after our meal.

The food… wow. It is rare I am full after an omakase but this is the exception. The fish is incredible, the additional dishes are just as good (the noodle soup, seems basic but is actually just wonderful broth and noodle texture- will be dreaming about this). Even the ice cream was top notch. We said goodbye to the chefs and server but will definitely be back to Seoul, even just for this...

The sushi was top tier quality, tasted very fresh and if you choose to sit at the counter you can watch the incredibly talented chefs prepare the food right in front of you. The restaurant exceeded our expectations on a high course. The food was amazing, we did the omakase. The service was very good as well and the lady spoke very good english and explained us all the foods in great detail. The atmosphere is really cute...
