Kokkili Bagel Yeongdeungpo — Restaurant in Seoul

I went there on Sunday morning at 9am after reading good reviews online and reading about their large selection of bagels (It opens at 8:30).

The problem was once I got there, they only had 2 types of bagels left !! 2! And it didn't seem like they had any plan to make any of the others in the near future.

Not only that the two types were butter and salt and plain, except that we were told that butter and salt could not be added to the bagels because it was too hot (???) So essentially they only had plain left 30 minutes after opening.

I'm not sure if they suddenly got famous recently and they don't know how to deal with long lines / high demand, but it has to be better.

Although the bagels were good it is kind of false advertising to claim you sell 10 types of bagels and then only offer 1.5. If you're looking for a better bagel experience try SF in Yeonnam dong or Everything bagel in...

This place is great. Happy to be the first to review. Was recommended this place by an online article. Bagels are amazing. I had the spinach and mugwort bagel, with an IPA. Atmosphere is great, seating is limited to 14, but wasn't completely filled when I got here. They have beer as an option to go with your bagel, which I did--no regrets! Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves food.

베이글 맛은 괜춘. 아빠가 자주 사오셔서 오늘은 제가 사러 나갔습니다. 이번 일로 실망해서 앞으로 저는 안 가려고요. 직원 교육을 잘 못시키는 듯함. 여자분이 버터 따로 담아준다고 해서 알았다고 했는데 버터 빼먹으심. 그래놓고 나중에 전화하니까 옆에다 뒀는데 왜 안가져갔냐며 오히려 나한테 뭐라 함. 아니 장난하세요? 비닐봉투 50원 내고 사면서 분명 그 직원분이랑 나랑 같이 베이글이랑 서비스로 주신 베이글칩(내가 새해 첫 손님이어서 사장님이 챙겨주신듯?) 답았고, 버터 관련 언급 1도 한 적 없음. 게다가 처음에 내가 주문하면서 잘라달라고 했을 때, 어떻게 자르는 지 모르는 표졍으로 멀뚱하게 있다가 ‘어떻게요..?’라고 물어봄. 나도 알바 여러 번 해 본 입장에서, 보통 잘라달라고 하면 자기들만의 방식이 있고 그걸 직원들한테 교육함. 예를 들면 이등분 해드릴까요? 묻는다거나 저희가 따로 잘라드리진 않고 일회용 칼 넣어드리겠습니다 등의 대답을 하도록. 그래서 저 직원은 뭐지? 싶어서 그냥 됐다고 함. 50원 내고 손잡이 있는 비닐 봉투 달라 했더니, 50원만 챙기고 봉투는 안 줌 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ아놔 이래놓고 나보고 자기가 버터 위에 올려놨는데 그걸 내가 안가져갔대. 그걸 왜 올려놔 손님한테 줘야지. 암튼 전화했더니 손님한테 책임전가하려다가 환불해주겠다고 함. 4시간이 지난 아직까지 환불 안해줌.

The bagel tastes okay, but the service here is terrible. Seriously, the seller made a mistake and she lied that I made a mistake. The seller forgot to give me butter( she told she will give me butter not spreading it on bagel because the bagel was hot). After I arrived home I found that she didn’t give me butter, so I called the store. And she said that she just put the butter on the desk and I forgot to take butter. What the fxxx. She told me nothing about butter when she gave me bagels. What drives me crazy is that she lied and she just tossed her mistake to me.
