Sanmotunggi Coffee — Restaurant in Seoul

Amazing breath taking view. It's a very beautiful place to stay for a coffee. However ... My matcha latte was totally burnt, it smelt like and tasted like very low quality burnt green tea. I drink good matcha everyday so that was very noticeable they used cheap matcha and then poured boiling water on it. And it was bloody 9000wons ..!!! I couldn't drink it. They serve everything in plastic take away cups, they really don't care about the planet. They could wash the cups but decide to just use tons and tons of plastic, it is really a shame... they have some ceramic cups but said it was too busy to use them -_-

EDIT : came back to give it another chance, OH MY GOD, I have never ever seen such a rude person!!! We said hi in Korean with a big smile but no answer, no smile, just in case I repeated and she rolled her eyes and said "yes..?" well yes hello..!! so we said sorry to disturb and left. We went to this cafe after hiking Inwangsan in the morning - I’d heard of it from a YouTube video and saved it on Google Maps. Like people have said, it’s a little hard to access without a car due to steep hills, but we had just come from hiking so it wasn’t a big deal.

Got there at noon on a Friday and it was still quiet. Immediately felt captivated by the charm of the decor and the views.

We enjoyed an iced decaf vanilla latte and an iced flat white. Like others have said, expect to pay a little more for coffee for the views.

30 minutes later the place was packed with people so come early if you want some peace and quiet (they open at 11:30 am). .

Nice cafe that located in an inaccessible place. I don’t think there is any possible public transportation to get here. Even though you have a car you’ll have a difficulty to park. There isn’t enough parking space especially on weekends. This cosy cafe has been on popular tv drama. That’s why this place is still popular and many people keep coming to have a look. However ₩ 8000 for a lousy coffee!! That’s too much. This cafe is not for coffee but you can have a fantastic view of the mountain Bugak .
