Hey I got it. Starbucks is a chain despite the "reserve" designation of this particular location. While others before me have commented on the lack of value in this coffee, my review here focuses on the poor service. I ordered my shakerato with the specific and clearly pronounced desire to "stay" as opposed to "takeaway." And guess what.... they came out with a to-go cup, which I decided not to dispute... After all, it would be even more detrimental to our environment if they had transferred the coffee from the plastic cup to a glass one. I proceeded to sit down and within seconds an employee came at me and reprimanded me for drinking out of a plastic cup inside the store... This Starbucks location is touted as the very FIRST Starbucks in Korea. I have been to Starbucks almost daily in the US as well as have visited Starbucks in a multitude of countries..... Sadly this location ranks as one of my worst...

I asked if I could purchase the tumbler today and come back tomorrow to queue for the engraving service if I had time (since Iโm flying out tomorrow), but he just kept shouting, โNO!โ and subsequently โThis is our policy, and Iโve told you ten times.โ First of all, he didnโt explain anything for ten times, and second, he didnโt take the time to explain why. Instead, he just shouted at me in front of other customers.
If you canโt manage the crowd, then please get someone else to do.
Is this the kind of service First Starbucks store in Korea provides? Truly...

Expensive coffee - which is fine -, but...
