The last 2 times I came, they treated me like I was not human. I am a foreigner, but I speak Korean. When I came in with my Korean coworker, I was speaking and paying, but the employee only looked at my coworker. Then when I paid, the employee asked MY COWORKER for her tax number. I was paying! I have a tax number! But the employee didnโt even behave as if I was a human. The second time, the employee (different person) did not understand anything. I had to remove my mask and speak very slowly and loudly (in Korean). I asked for the โBasque cheesecakeโ and he said โoh! The red velvet cake!โ Red velvet?? They didnโt even have red velvet cake for sale! โBasqueโ does not sound similar to โred velvetโ. I needed to hurry and get my items before work, but it took so long because he would not accept that I was speaking Korean. I had to tell him, โI AM SPEAKING KOREANโ for him to calm down. The employees really need better training, they behave like scared young students! Even my youngest students were not this skittish and confused.
