Been here several times during my trip, was able to do a walk in for both times. I find this place a little discriminatory towards foreigners though.
The young staff here handling the barbecue were very nice. Meat was never left unattended for more than a minute. I noticed that they cooked for the foreigners but not the locals.
Very pricy for ala carte / for 2 people expect to spend around 80+k in total. Lamb was from 22k to 29k per plate. Lamb skewers always sold out as they are the cheapest however one time I saw a group of locals who were able to order even though it said sold out and I did try ordering.
I feel this place tries to rush the foreigners - they cook the meat very fast. Maybe it’s because of the hot coals, but once they’re done they remove the coals. If you eat slowly meat can get cold. Locals grill their own meat at their own pace.
During my last visit, the owner really annoyed us. We had JUST finished our food and still had our drinks to finish. He said there are people waiting and we should leave. We took our time to finish our drinks, we are paying customers! While next to us was a table of locals who were there before us and their food was finished when we go there they were just drinking beer.
Note this place does sell alcohol. They advertise themselves as serving halal lamb but didn’t say anything about halal chicken. So eat the chicken at your...
Read moreI recently dined at Korean BBQ Lamb and had an outstanding experience that I can't wait to share. We tried the lamb skewers, lamb pieces, and chicken, and every bite was incredibly delicious. The lamb was tender and flavorful, and the chicken was cooked to perfection.
One of the unique aspects of this restaurant is the option to cook the food yourself or have assistance from the friendly and attentive staff. This interactive element adds a fun and engaging dimension to the dining experience, making it perfect for both small gatherings and larger groups.
The prices at Korean BBQ Lamb are very reasonable, especially considering the exceptional quality of the food. The flavors were rich and satisfying, making each dish truly memorable. The ambiance of the restaurant is also worth noting; it's warm and inviting, providing a comfortable setting to enjoy your meal.

Read moreIf you’re coming for dinner, it is advisable to catch a uber. The restaurant is located at the hilly side of Seoul. But going back, yes its better to walk. Best time for the stomach to digest all the goodness... When i was there, most of the patrons are either malaysian, indonesian and even bruneian... all looks alike... Main menu is of course the lamb rack... The price of all menu are on the higher side. But with the excellent taste, good ambience, friendly crew and even the soothing music, its worth every won ($$$) spent there. For those who plan to come during peak hours at weekend, make sure you have your booking made much earlier. Some even said days earlier... Yes thats how popular this place is... Another must try for grilled meat lovers... Oh yes not to mentioned that the grill experience is just like when we watch korean dramas, each table has its own ‘suction line’ so that you wont be suffocated with the smoke... Truly...
