Rooftop Kloud — Restaurant in Seoul

The $25 bland cocktail might be worth it...if you sat near the window. I went to the Kloud with a small group and the only seats that were available were at the bar. They said we could have a drink there and wait for seats to open up in the actual rooftop area. When it finally did open up, it was right in the middle of the lounge where we didn't get any view of the skyline (which is why we went there in the first place). It was fine at first because there were no other seats available, but literally 2 min after we sat down, a seat opened up right by the balcony. We asked 2 separate servers if we could move into that space, and they both adamantly declined because they said once you sit down, you have to remain in that seat. We argued that we sat down 2 min ago and didn't even order our second round of drinks yet, but she continued saying that if they moved us, then everyone else would complain. We even told her that if someone complained or if another group came, we would gladly move, but she refused to enhance our experience by letting us sit in the seats with the view even though the place had completely emptied out. Honestly, even though the rooftop itself was nice and quiet, I would never go back nor recommend it due to poor service and crappy, but crazy expensive drinks. If I am buying a $25 drink, I expect it to at least be decent and not taste like watered down grapefruit juice...

The rooftop space is beautiful and I would rate it a perfect 5 star if it weren’t for the horrible service. We went there for my husband’s birthday and it took them over 30 minutes to get a drink. We were a party of about 20 people ready to drink and have a good time. They gave us the private room but not once did a server or staff come to check up on us. We had to go out to the bar to order our own drinks but when we did, we were told to go back into the room because we were blocking the counter space. When we told the staff to please service us in the room and to take care of us, one of the servers spoke very horribly about us into her microphone in Korea, thinking we couldn’t understand her. We address this to management and they didn’t do much about it. This is about my 3rd time and every time, it has been bad. Incredible Experience at Rooftop Kloud!

We had an amazing evening at Rooftop Kloud during my trip to Seoul. The view is absolutely stunning—one of the best rooftop spots in the city to enjoy a panoramic skyline, especially at sunset. The atmosphere is upscale but relaxed, perfect for both a romantic evening or a chill night out with friends.

What truly made the experience unforgettable was the service. A huge shoutout to Kiki, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was incredibly attentive, warm, and knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot on—especially the signature cocktails, which were both creative and delicious. Kiki's friendly energy really elevated the entire night.
