Huindajeong — Restaurant in Sokcho-si

I am very perplexed why this place has such a high average rating. I ordered milk bingsoo which didn’t really have milk flavor at all and the amount of red bean paste (which is the core of this dish) was so small that by the time we went through half of shaved ice, the red bean paste was gone. Flan has also very timid taste with no exceptional character. It was quite a disappointing experience, especially that I have waited for about an hour to be seated. Maybe other dishes are better, but unfortunately what I ordered were not...

The coconut bingsoo was so amazing. The dried coconut added crunch and sweetness to the dish. Great for sharing with 2 or 3 people. The mochi was so good! The affogato with coconut and ice cream is also highly recommended. Must stop...

속초, 오색 10일 여행 중 2번이나 찾은 곳입니다. 여행 마무리날은 휴점-수요일이라 어쩔 수 없이 그냥 올라왔습니다. 일본식의 디저트류를 만날 수 있는 곳입니다. 주차공간이 적으나 바로 옆 식당과 공간쉐어한답니다. 외관도 깨끗하지만 내부 분위기도 깔끔하고 정갈합니다. 찾으시는 분들도 분위기에 맞게 소란스럽지 않고 좋습니다. 포장조차 대기가 있습니다. 그만큼 인기 있다는 증거. 조용조용하게 써빙하고 치우시고 주문받고 차분하게 설명하고, 맘에 듭니다. 좌석수가 많지않아 공간에서 즐길 수 없음이 아쉽습니다. 호지블랑, 말차블랑 제대로 합니다! 푸딩은 젤라틴이 많이 함유되어 포장의 경우 10분이내로 먹지않으면 형태가 풀어진다는 설명, 그래서 그런지 매우 쫀득한 식감도 좋고, 소스도 캬라멜화가 찐합니다. 고급스런 맛과 살짝 올려져 있는 허브도 정성입니다. 다음 방문 때는 빙수체험을 예정하고 있고, 내부에서 즐길...
