Viking's Wharf — Restaurant in Suwon-si

It was good don’t get me wrong but I was definitely expecting a lot more based on the reviews! The hot food items and items other than the lobster were okay. You can definitely tell they’re buffet items so don’t expect it to be a michelin star restaurant or anything. The seafood was good and fresh. The galbi was okay. i actually preferred the steamed lobsters over the cheesy grilled lobsters. The fruit juices were okay as well. Some of the rounds of apple juice were strained while some rounds weren’t. The kiwi juice made my throat hurt, similar to how pineapples hurt your throat. The whole mangos also tasted off. I’m not sure if that’s just how fresh mangoes in Korea taste but it wasn’t sweet at all. But I really enjoyed the Gelato. Overall, I enjoyed the lobsters and gelato the most. food was good. but not worth 150,000 won. service was mediocre. need to bus ur own dishes. cuz they r kinda slow about it. also. the restaurant is so cold in winter. dress super warm if u go there n don’t wanna wear ur jacket while u eat. also don’t sit by the window in winter. we were freezing! also. u will feel rushed eating there cuz the time limit. get everything u want to eat as fast as possible. i ate for free thru hookups. but i would definitely not pay that price to eat there again in the cold. but if i go again and someone else pays, i will dress much warmer. not sit by the window. and get my food n eat...

식사와 서비스에 비해 가격이 비싼 편. 2시 입장인 줄 알았는데 줄서서 대기하다가 2시 10분 넘어서 입장. 발열체크와 QR코드 확인 후 전체소독, 손 세척 후 직원이 안내 함.

전체 테이블은 많은 편이 아니고 뷔페 코너와 음식 종류도 적은 편임. 해산물 신선해서 좋긴 했는데 사이즈와 양이 너무 작음. 각 코너마다 직원이 상주하고 있긴하지만 내가 직접 퍼 먹을 수 없고 직원이 담아주는 형태라 즉각적이지 않고 불편함.

해산물같은 경우 2개 달라고 요청해도 "1개요"라고 확인하고 준다던가 한번에 회코너는 3종류만 선택할 수 있어 많이 번거로웠음.

랍스터가 무제한이라는 장점이 있지만 랍스터를 크게 좋아하지 않는 입장에서 크기 작은 랍스터가 크게 맛있게 느껴지지 않아 리필이 와닿지 않음. 갈비스테이크?는 맛있었음. 하지만 조리시간 길어서 둘이 1개씩만 맛봄.

전체적으로 일반적인 뷔페보다는 퀄과 맛이 좋은 편이지만 몇 만원 더 주고 이용 가능한 호텔 뷔페와 비교하면 가성비 떨어진다고 느껴짐. 호텔과 비교하면 직원도 호텔리어처럼 교육 받은 것 같지 않았음. 호텔도 아닌데 왜 호텔과 비교하냐면 가격이 비슷하기 때문. 조금 저렴한 수준 내가 마음껏 담아 먹을 수 있었다면 만족도가 높았을 수도 있다. 음식을 선택할 때마다 직원과 얘기해야하는게 피곤하게 느껴짐.

케이크는 서너가지였고 다른 음식과 다르게 큰 조각으로 제공했고 맛이 좋았음. 커피도 맛있었지만 두번이나 두잔이냐고 물어봐놓고 "한잔이었죠?"라고 하고 한잔 줌.
