Wow.. upon entering was met with a very frosty and unfriendly service. The look of disdain from the waitress that Allah forbid there be a customer! The long miserable faces of not one but both waitresses was hard to stomach. There was a million places these young waitresses rather be and serving in this restaurant was the last thing on Earth they wanted. Their misery made it hard to enjoy a meal here.
Ordered the Aleppo from the menu plus a tea.. It tasted ok. But eating out is about the whole dining experience not just the food.
The dish came with falafel and three dips, falafel was nothing special, but the dips were pretty good, accompanied with a basket of pitta bread. Half of the pitta bread was rock hard. So I asked for it to be replaced with soft fresh pitta/pan.

Read moreWe really enjoyed eating here. Not where we expected to be eating.....a Lebanese/ Syrian restaurant...... In the heart of A Coruña....... Who would have thought. So, I was meet at 12:30 to be told they didn't open until 13:00..... But that we could book a table. Great. Very pleasant greeting. Big smiles all round. Got there at 13:00 where or table was ready for us as were further big smiles. The food was gorgeous. We got sharing platters which was a fantastic move. The food was fresh, tasty, well presented, colourful and according to one of our party, who is of Lebanese decent, the food was pretty authentic. Priced reasonably. Attentive, happy, polite and interested staff were able to spend time while we discussed what we would be eating and even you a photo of our little group for us. My only criticism would be the size of table......a little bigger with more seating room would be good but I understand the constraints of the environment. What a fantastic experience. Thank you to all of you. We will be...
Read moreA true gem nestled in the heart of Orzán! The place is simple and cozy, without fake oriental paraphernalia, and feels like being invited to some middle-east family home. The hosts are caring and engaging, explaining the menu without rushing you. The food is the real star though, authentic and home made. The Lebanese and Syrian spices and flavours are there, without being overpowering. Even the baklavas have the right amount of sweetness to perfectly end this joyous...
