If you are looking for authentic peruvian food this place will not dissapoint. I have eaten at the more expensive Conquista Restaraunt which was also very good, but as someone who has travelled Peru extensively and eaten Peruvian food in both London and Amsterdam as well as many other places, i would have to say above all the places I have visited Margarita Peruviain restarant is by far the most authentic and therefor, very best. Fui a celebrar fiestas patrias a este restaurante. Primero la infraestructura del local; el letrero del local dice MI PERÚ, actualizar el nombre del local o el letrero, elegí una mesa del fondo y percibí olores del baño eso que fui el primero en ingresar al restaurante, me cambie de mesa y al final de comer al ir al baño me encuentro que recién lo estaban limpiando, utilice el baño y al jalar la cadena no funcionaba se lo indique al dueño, por lo demás mesas, piso y decoración aceptables. Segundo el personal; en general amigables y serviciales, recomendaría usar al dueño y personal chaquetas de color blanco preferentemente, el uniforme demuestra orden y limpieza. Tercero la comida; ordene una leche de tigre, una ración de anticuchos y un postre tres leches, la sazón en los dos platos estaba muy bien, solamente el típico error de TODOS los restaurantes peruanos, ponen demasiada cantidad de cebolla y poco pescado que estaba excelente, fresquisimo y por último, la papa/patata que acompaña al anticucho demasiado fría, preferible calentarla en la plancha al cocinar el anticucho y con respecto al bizcocho estaba muy bien pero otro gran error que se repite al montar causas y bizcochos, se exceden una barbaridad con la mayonesa y en este caso con la nata/crema chantilly. This is the worst restaurant I've ever eaten in and I cannot believe the reviews are from anyone but friend and family. The food is completely disgusting. My partner ordered the fish and could not eat it. I ordered the beef and it tasted only of SALT. The wine was €3 a glass and tasted like vinegar.
