T59 — Restaurant in A Coruña

I came to this bar 2 days in a row and decided to delete and re write my entire review on the second day as it didn’t put enough emphasis on how astounding this place is. It’s a narrow little bar serving a lot of the same things most other bars do, but what makes this business different is the man who runs the place. Manuel was welcoming and charming as soon as we walked in, he made us exceptional coffees and served us great food. When I walked into this place I didn’t expect to meet one of the kindest souls I’ve ever come across. Manuel was not only a bartender and server, he was a tour guide, an advisor and allowed his bar to be our personal locker room on days when we were in between air bnbs. He taught us how to use the bus system so we wouldn’t have to spend so much on cabs. He even left the bar and walked us to the stop personally (carrying our bags) and had his friends make sure we got on the right one. As a first time traveller, especially as a female, it’s scary to trust strangers in foreign country. I’m so glad we trusted Miguel. I can’t say enough good things about this bar and the people working it. If you’re ever in A Coruña, I beg you to please visit Manuel and see for yourself why this establishment deserves WAY more...
