Atlántico 57 — Restaurant in A Coruña

We came in and asked for a table of 2 to eat. Because we had our dog with us they told us to sit at the terras at the front and that the kitchen opened in half an hour. All fair so far. We waited for maybe 15 minutes thinking we were already forgotten but when another person sat at the table nearby they immediately got serviced. As the waiter passed us by we called out to order drinks. We were also brought plates. As our drinks finally got served I noticed that the kitchen would have opened so we immediately asked for the menu. After another 10 minutes I went inside to ask for the cart. I barely sat down when they came to ask what we wanted. We asked for 2 minutes to have a chance to look at the cart. After 5 minutes waiting and not really convinced with our meal choices we decided to look for another place to eat.

Maybe it was because they thought we only spoke english (I do but my boyfriend doesn't and they heard that after we ordered drinks) but that doesn't excuse the absence of service.

Would definitely not recommend unless you want to waste an hour and still...

El día del apagón, entiendo que toda la gente estaba muy desbordada y tenía una reserva para comer con una amiga , me avisaron para cancelar. Pero pregunté si podríamos tomar algo. SOLO EFECTIVO !! Si, sí, sin problema , respondí. Fuimos y nos adaptamos a lo que había preparado en frío y a carne a la plancha.. Patatas no nos podían hacer, sólo tenían plancha.... ( pero circulaban las tortillas... ) congeladas?? Patatas ya preparadas para tortilla?? Normal. Cada uno en su negocio se organiza como quiere y como puede.... Yo dije que con la carne me tomaría ensaladilla ( NOO , SÓLO ENSALADA) A ver , yo quiero carne y no me apetece ensalada. Pido una de carne y una de ensaladilla. No te estoy pidiendo que me regales nada. Miramos de ponerle las cosas lo más fáciles posibles, dentro de la situación. Y era temprano, sobre las 13:30. Muy poco resolutiva y mal encarada, te estaba echando la bronca ( supusimos que era la encargada, una mujer de malas pulgas y le costaba mirarte a la cara ) La hostelería es fastidiada, y la vida de cada uno , la sabe cada uno. Pero los clientes NO tenemos la culpa, porque también tenemos, vida, trabajo y preocupaciones. Cuando vamos a un lugar de ocio para relajarnos, nos apetece eso. Y que no nos toquen la moral sin merecerlo. Consumimos entre las dos 80 y pico de Euros Y aún se ofendió por pedirle la nota ( que no quería darme , como no tenían luz ) Pero ya le dije, en algún lugar tuviste que hacer la cuenta y saber los importes. Hay , sí corazón, claro... te dejo hacerle una foto. Hacía casi 1 hora que estaba esperando por un agua que había pedido, y mi amiga un vino. Pues mi agua no llegó. Cada vez que veía pasar algún camarero, levantaba la mano para recordarles el agua. Ni me miraban.

Pues pedimos la cuenta y nos fuimos al tira do playa ( pena no habernos ido antes)

A poco estuve de levantarme para marchar sin pagar, a ver si me hacían caso. Que pena !!! Con lo bonito que es el sitio y las vistas que tiene . Las cositas de comer están bien y la tarta de queso con lotus ( impresionante 💯) Cada cosa, buena como mala hay que decirla Tomé dos porciones.

Pero el agua que no me llegaron a servir, Estaba en la cuenta !!! Qué cara !! La reclamé 2€ y se los di de propina al lado. Hay que ser más...

Been travelling through Galicia for 9 days, worst experience throughout the whole trip. Arrived at half past 7, got the info kitchen would open at 8.30. We would get a table, but HAD TO (!) drink something while waiting for the kitchen to open. Sat down, got our drinks, were ignored afterwards. Tried ordering food at 8.30, only to be told kitchen wold not open until 9. Even the manager did not care that we were given a different information when we arrived. No sincere apology, no try to make it right after we had been waiting for over an hour. When we decided to leave the bill was literally banged on our table without a word.
