Cafetería Boulangerie (Adeje) — Restaurant in Adeje

Me and my dad where really hungry and decided to come to this place for a quick bite to eat. I’m vegan and as I read the menu saw that they didn’t really have any vegan options, it’s not the first time this has happened to me at a restaurant and usually they are happy to put something together. The waitress said there was no options for me and that the most she could do was remove the cheese of some of options but that she couldn’t ensure that the bread was vegan, I asked if she could perhaps add a little avocado so the sandwich would have more substance. But quite frankly she made me feel like I was unwelcomed and annoying her. She said that she would have to charge me extra for the avocado and once the food we ordered was served she explained the sauces and told me that “she had no idea what sauce I could have” personally I think that it was terrible service and if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t make a comment with an attitude. I know not anyone is familiar with veganism and I’m quite happy to adapt but I will never be coming back or recommending this...

Boulangerie is an absolute must-visit if you're looking for a high-quality breakfast experience. From the moment you step in, the wide variety of freshly made sandwiches, paninis, and pastries will tempt you—it’s almost impossible to choose! Each item is carefully crafted, and the freshness is undeniable.

The coffee? Simply the best on the island. The Barraquito, in particular, is perfectly balanced, with a generous pour of Licor 43 (unlike other places that skimp on it). You can taste the difference in every sip.

The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, speaking multiple languages, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Despite being busy (a great sign of its popularity!), the service remains top-notch.

While it may not be the cheapest spot, you are definitely paying for outstanding quality. It’s the kind of place where eating less but savoring the finest is more than worth it. We’re already planning to go...

Sandwiches were great, but after the burgers — I won’t be back

I used to stop by this place often — their sandwiches were always tasty and satisfying. One day, I decided to try the burgers. Ordered three different kinds on separate visits, each time asking for a rare cook. Every time, the patties came out dry, overcooked, and heavy.

The waiter was polite and checked in, but nothing changed. It feels like the chef simply doesn’t know how to handle meat — and that speaks to the overall quality of the kitchen.
