George’s — Restaurant in Adeje

I ordered their George salad. It was described as having baby lettuce leaves, avocado, smoked salmon & cherry tomatoes. It was delivered & looked delicious. Unfortunately the lettuce was iceberg & I am allergic to it. It upsets my stomach. I asked the waiter to confirm if it was definitely iceberg. His answer was one type of lettuce. I chose to keep the salad & pick out all the lettuce & asked for some alioli. I had to go up to the till with my lettuce & ask again for alioli. The waiter looked up the menu description of the lettuce & realised it was in fact mixed baby lettuce leaves. I was left with a plate of food that resembled a starter. It took a while to get the waiters attention to pay the bill. Still charged the full price of €12.50. 2 couples at the next table seemed to be regulars & agreed with me that it was a pathetic amount of food & were surprised at being...

Had a lunch here with family member. They ordered a salad of baby leaves smoked salmon, prawns avocado. Looked amazing. No baby lettuce leaves just iceberg lettuce..... We are both allergic to it , but not other lettuce. Waiter apologised but did not offer to change and charged the full price. I had a Singapore noodles they were tasty but could have been more spicy as It asked for spicy as I know the locals don't do spicy. Good selection of foods. Just serve what it says on the menu or advice of changes. Not all your customers are passing through on holiday. Table next to us were shocked that no discount was given for the salad as not as per menu description they were on holiday. .and family member could only eat the meat and avocado more than 3/4 of the dish...

We will not go there again despite it’s a good place to watch football. Very poor service, we have went here 3 nights and every night they try to put more on the bill then was ordered. The last night the waiter behind the bar came out verbally and physically treathening a guy who asked for a split bill. Making a scene in the middle of the crowd scaring most customers away. Was the young Morocco guy behind the coffeebar. The manager also doesn’t know how to step in, he litteraly said it’s not his problem to manage the other employee’s. Dont know where high...
