Don’t hesitate, go there. We stumbled across this place on a spur-of-the-moment drive from Alicante, and ended up having an amazing lunch here. From the second we walked in, the staff treated us like old friends: genuine smiles, quick welcomes, genuine interest in our story, and zero pretension. They told us the restaurant used to be in Alicante center before relocating here, and you can tell they brought all the best parts of that original spot with them. The dining room feels warm without trying too hard, with soft lighting, simple décor, enough space between tables, and high ceilings, so you actually hear your own company.
The food is worth writing home about. Every bite tasted fresh and balanced, with zero fuss. We tried the mixed starter, it was lovely, with the accompanying sauces. The main courses, each one hit exactly the right notes—no overblown techniques, just straightforward cooking that lets quality ingredients shine. Be sure to ask for the extra chillies, my pad kra pao, wasn’t spicy enough for me, I had to add chilies, but, that’s just me. They explained where things came from: local produce, and said sorry for not having Thai basil, which was nice to hear. You can taste that care in every dish. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and nothing felt like it was too much hassle. Afterwards, the owner, and chef came out to say hello without a song and dance, which sealed the deal: this isn’t some corporate operation, it’s a passionate team doing exactly what they love. Sending admiration from Ireland 🇮🇪 We will be back.
Bottom line: this place is a gem. If you find yourself nearby, pull over and walk in—you won’t regret it. We’ll definitely be...
Read moreI came by here on a Thursday evening to get some takeout after a long day. I have had Thai food before but this was a great experience because the chef personally helped me to choose things suited to my taste (I like spicy) and what was in season. The atmosphere is so relaxing and conducive to conversation and having a pleasant meal. They had my favorite Spanish beer (estrella Galicia) which is always a plus. The food was so flavorful. I felt the quantities reflected the quality and I was more than full. I got at least 6 meaty shrimp in my pad Thai which by themselves would cost more where I am from than the entire dish. The vegetable stir fry was fresh and not over-sauced so that I could enjoy the individual flavours. I only regret not exchanging names with the wonderful staff who talked with me while I waited ( I am Mandy :)...
Read moreThis place is truly amazing. Our experience in Alcoi wasn’t great, and we couldn’t find anywhere nice to eat. But after coming to this restaurant, I immediately felt at peace. The atmosphere is so calming, and the food is absolutely delicious. The chef, Sau, pours her heart into every dish. Everything was fresh and homemade. Dinner here truly made our day.
It was just my boyfriend and me at the restaurant at the time, which was surprising because this place deserves many more customers. The waiter, Cristian, did his best to explain everything to us, and his service was excellent. We definitely felt welcome.
You can tell this restaurant is run by a family who truly loves what they do. I must say, this was the best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life.
Thank you again for the great service.
