I don't know where to start to explain the 5 star rating. I think it's the fact that it's hidden in plane sight which sets the tone and their extremely friendly staff with some English understanding (of humor too). The food is the best I've had in last week of trying foods all over Velez adding on top of that the sea view just outside. They also have managed to find some of the best music to play while dining that you can't help but sing along to with your friends. Would recommend this place a millions times over. What a nice surprise. As you approach this restaurant it looks like a basic bar, however inside past the first dining room its a large patio terrace facing the sea. This open dining area is protected from the sun, its cool and very comfortable for dining. The service is professional, the food portions are generous. Usually fantastic food and ambiance but yesterday they had new staff working. We had a fish dish (fillet of Rosado) which was awful. The fish was from the freezer, baked potatoe was watery. Most people left their potatoe on the plate. I had a copa de cervesa but was charged for a tan que. Argued with the waiter but to no avail.
